* RE4 to be Uncensored in Europe

Playstation2/Sony
After previous versions (and other game titles) were censored in Europe, Capcom is vowing that Resident Evil 4 will remain uncensored.

Nintendo are distributing this new title - the biggest third-party release on the Cube for quite some time - and fans feared that the decapitation element might be axed like a similar feature was from Ninja Gaiden prior to Euro debut. Capcom say not however, and the gore will remain. Quite why the decision was taken to remove it from the Japanese release remains a mystery, but we suspect it could have been the result of the brutal beheadings undertaken upon hostages in Iraq over the recent year or so. More on this soon.
