* EA gets the next Oddworld

Xbox/Xbox Games
Word from Yahoo is that EA will be the publishers of the next Oddworld title. I don't know if this is a good thing. From the article:
"Partnering with EA is a major win for us. Through EA's first-rate publishing and marketing expertise, the expanded universe of Oddworld can reach millions of game fans and extend the reach of this distinctive series," said Lorne Lanning, President of Oddworld Inhabitants.
EA for me has always been a mixed bag - Need For Speed, Lord of the Rings on one side, and a long line of pretty pathetic sports titles on the other. Then again, Microsoft didn't exactly do a great job pushing Munch's Oddysee, so there's something to shopping around for another publisher. I suppose it doesn't matter. No matter who publishes Stranger, I'll wind up buying it.
