Playstation2/Sony
Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is going to get a retread with high-def resolution support, coming out on the PS3 and Xbox360's download services sometime soon.

Apparently, they're using the Dreamcast port as a code base, not surprising since the 360's had a number of Dreamcast port retreads (see: Soul Calibur).

It features an optional visual filter that smooths out the game's graphics and new online modes, including Ranked Matches and the Quarter matches found in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which allows up to four people to watch and chat while two others fight. It also features widescreen support with the gameplay in a 4:3 field, but the viewing area expanded.

The best part? No unlockables in the game. All 56 characters are accessible from the get go.
Hooray for that last one. Unlocking that number of characters was a real pain.

Now if only Marvel would figure out that their best shot for a new game franchise is Marvel Vs Capcom 3...
