HomelanFed has an exclusive interview with Dave Callaham, the man who's writing the script for the Doom movie.
While his job on the Doom movie is mostly over, Callaham says he is looking forward to perhaps heading over to Prague to watch the movie itself being filmed once it starts full production. At the moment, the movie is set to be released to theaters in early August of 2005. While he already has a couple of other movie scripts in the works, including a thriller set on the International Space Station and a political-action movie on the privatization of the military, Callaham does admit to having some ideas for a Doom movie sequel should such a project go forward.
Resident Evil's done well. Hopefully this will turn out to be a decent movie too. With a few more, we could erase the spectre of "video game movies = crap."
