* Kudos to a good company

In the world of hardware, there are tons of customer service horror stories.

Thankfully, today I get to spotlight a good company. The X-Gaming guys, who made my X-Arcade sticks that I use whenever I need an arcade stick for a fighting game like Street Fighter or Soul Calibur.

See, one of my two sticks started dying - just the down and left directions on the stick itself. So I go looking to check their warranty terms... and not only are the terms awesome (a full lifetime warranty, with shipping on a complete replacement unit covered in the event of failure in the first year), but they're designed beautifully.

They'll ship me replacements for the two faulty microswitches, free. And they're as easy as can be to replace; pull the leads, unscrew the old one, screw new one in, and reconnect leads.

Bravo, and thanks guys. It's nice to see a company that designs a good product and then stands by it.
