Liberated Games, a repository of source code for games whose source has been released by the creators as freeware, has opened their doors. These guys are Linux guys, but they're covering and linking to ports for any platform, which is quite cool.

The current list of games has some notable favorites:
Abuse
Aliens vs. Predator
Allegiance
Beneath a Steel Sky
Beyond Castle Wolfenstein
Descent
Descent II
Doom
Doom 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Elite
Enemy Engaged: Comanche Hokum
Flight of the Amazon Queen
Freespace 2
Golgotha
Grand Theft Auto
Ground Control
Heretic
Hexen
Hexen II
Hidden & Dangerous
Homeworld
Maelstrom
Marathon 2
Marathon Infinity
Quake
Quake II
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
Rise of the Triad
Spear of Destiny
Starsiege: Tribes
The Elder Scrolls: Arena
Tribes 2
Ur-Quan Masters, The (Star Control 2)
Wild Metal
Wolfenstein 3D

Especially heartening for old-school Mac gamers who have PC's now is the fact that Maelstrom now has a Windows Port.
