* Xbox360: what we still want to know

Xbox/Xbox Games
Yahoo carries a story on the things gamers still need to know about the Xbox360:

But many of the basic details of the Xbox 360 still look fuzzy-- Microsoft hasn't announced a price yet or a release date more specific than "holiday 2005." The company would not say whether the Xbox 360 will be able to play games designed for the Xbox, which turns four years old this year.

So far, a few familiar names among today's game franchises have been mentioned as Xbox 360 releases. Viewers of the new Xbox's MTV debut saw glimpses of a new Tiger Woods golf game, a new Tony Hawk skateboarding game and a new Tom Clancy Ghost Recon action game. Yes, there was a bit of Madden NFL 2006 for the Xbox 360, too.
I can guarantee I'll buy one. But I'm waiting to find out if it'll be backwards compatible with the old games.

If it is, I can guarantee I'll be buying one at launch. If not, I may wait a couple months. My entertainment shelf is pretty damn full as it stands.
