Reviewed: PC Intruder / PC Raider Gamepads

Final Breakdown

Installation takes a little work and isn't 100% intuitive, but it's not overly complicated either.

For $9.99 on the Intruder and $14.99 on the Raider, they're cheap enough not to dent a wallet. Not a bad price for the gamer who doesn't need tons of options.

The two devices use the same driver, and nothing seemed able to go truly wrong with them.

It's the basic design found in a lot of pads, with only some D-pad issues to worry about. It would be nice to see something bigger tagged on, like macro assignment, but the turbo switches on the Raider are a nifty touch.

If you're looking to get a basic gamepad with no frills, either pad would be a decent choice. Both pads received the same scores because, except for the presence of the turbo switches on the Raider, they are the same product.

Pluses (+)
  • Good Price
  • Sturdy Construction
  • Minuses (-)
  • No frills at all
  • Noisy D-pad
