As for the graphics in the game... we come back to the game's interface. The background images are gorgeous, as are the 3D-rendered people (until they're close in and the hands are shown). The problem is that they just don't seem to go too well together: it's too easy to tell what's background and what isn't because of the nature of the levels. The clash is really problematic, especially when the characters are brought into a scene where things should look very nice and they just don't quite fit. Even worse is the way that the guns and other items target -- as nice as it is to have every enemy show brackets and crosshairs when targeted, it doesn't fit the game or the Trek universe to have that going on.

The sound in the game is the only really good point. The musical score is excellent, and the voices are all well-done. Special mention goes to the fact that the voices of Data and Picard actually are Brent Spiner and Patrick Stewart, so there can be no complaint on that side of things. The effects are all true to the series and movies, as are the various item sounds, so on the sound side the game can't be faulted.
