Reviewed: Giganta Mousepad
Author: Sunil Parekh       Date: April 2nd 2000

Everglide was "pressured" into making a bigger mousepad after the tremendous success of the RatPadz. Well, they copied its size, but fortunatley they added much more. I really prefer the shape of the Giganta than the Ratpadz; it is very comfortable and looks extremely good. The beveled edges give it a really spectacular 'finished' look. Kudos to Everglide.

There is one irreconcilable problem with this mousepad though. On the underbelly of the mousepad, there are only 5 rubber stickers to make sure that there is no moving. On the Ratpadz there were 8. When the stickers get dirty, they lose traction and thus, when you are just about to rail that Klesk, the mousepad moves. I cannot stress how irritating that is! The performance of this mousepad is severely impaired due to the inability of the rubber feet to keep it from sliding around.
