Final Breakdown

Installation:

Not the easiest installation, but not really complicated; the price paid for extra features.

Price:

At $149.00, it's a little high for sound, but the functionality if you're upgrading from an old Sound Blaster is worth it.

Drivers:

Seamless drivers make the card perform like a beauty.

Performance/Features:

The point is for it to make the sound and gamepad connections easy to handle, and it succeeds completely.

Overall:

A great sound card, worthy of an Editor's Choice Award.  Great job innovating with functional features.

Pluses (+)
  • Makes gamepads/sound products even easier to use.
  • Minuses (-)
  • Not a superb bundle.
