Final Breakdown

Gameplay:

Addicting. The interface is well thought out, and isn't over done.

Graphics:

Nothing spectacular, but not shabby at all. Definately one of the game's plusses.

Sound and Music:

The effects were great, the same sound isn't used for every single explosion in the game, nice touch. The music was excellent, it's just too bad it wasn't in MP3 format.

Multiplayer:

It has nothing on any Quake, but the idea of having an online scoreboard was a good one. I almost hesitate to call that multiplayer, but I suppose it fits the description.

AI and Difficulty:

With damn near an infinite number of levels, difficulty, and ways to play; this game is extremely replayable. You can make it as easy or as difficult as you want it to be.

Controls and Interface:

Very simple. If you can't click a mouse, you don't deserve a computer. The fact that you don't have to stop and wonder what you're supposed to click on without checking out the manual first shows that Flux is very well thought out - everything's obvious.

Overall:

As far as puzzle games go, this one is definately worth a second look.

Pluses (+)
  • Nice graphics
  • Great tunes
  • High replayability
  • Minuses (-)
  • Annoying bugs
