Nocturne Benchmark

Video 2000 Benchmark

The Nocturne benchmark is heavily influenced by the processor and memory available in the computer system and it can be seen that these two elements really bring the computer down to its knees with frame rates in the single digits. The Video 2000 benchmarks show that the GeForce chipset is a very capable performer in terms of software DVD MPEG2 decoding. A score of 1636 is very respectable. The GeForce chipset supports many filters that help compensate for the lack of a hardware MPEG2 decoder. Image quality for the videocard is very good compared to other software rendering solutions.
