Final Breakdown

The single-player is great, with excellent multiplayer backing it up Play this game for the storyline, then go shoot down your friends.

I never would have expected a Direct3D-based game to look this awesome.

Sound and Music:

The voices make the game, with beautiful music and effects to back them up. Nothing in this area manages to mess up the experience.

The multiplayer is well set up and perfect for those looking for a new type of experience beyond FPS-style combat.

AI and Difficulty:

The AI is good, but far from perfect. One thing I really liked: your wingmen are actually competent.

Controls and Interface:

No problem can really be found in the interface, but an option to select the joystick to use (for those of us with more than one hooked up) would have been nice.

What are you waiting for? Try it out already!
