I really don't think you have to install a mousepad....not yet atleast.

The LAP without a doubt serves your mouse better than a traditional mousepad, increasing accuracy, sensitivity, and best of all, frags! Not only does it perform good, but it's durable too. The pad get's dirty... no problemo! Stick it in the dish washer and it comes out nice and clean. There's also four rubber pads on the bottom of the pad that stick real well to your desktop, preventing the pad from sliding around.

Besides the fact that it's a tad bit on the small side, the price was the only other thing. I suppose $20 isn't that much money, but it is more than other mousepads. But, well.... that's usually the case with computers. A TNT2 Ultra isn't going to cost the same as a Voodoo 2 now is it?

All-in-all the Everglide LAP is a must-have for any gamer, whether or not you have an IntelliEye mouse or not. The LAP pad is also available with other logos besides the Everglide one, such as the Falcon Northwest logo, or Quake 3.

  • Greatly improves sensitivity, accuracy, and frags
  • Works terrific with the IntelliEye mice

  • More expensive than traditional mousepads
  • Slightly small--you may find yourself short in vertical movement
