Final Breakdown

Installation:

Installation of this joystick is just as easy as any other joystick. Just plug it into the port and then install the drivers. The slight problem incurred was with getting the drivers to work flawlessly. But the drivers came around and started working easily after a few work arounds.

Price:

At $84.99, the price is very solid. This joystick is the cheapest of the other force feedback devices (at retail price), about $20 cheaper than the competition. Considering how much difference there is in cost, this is a deal that shouldn't be missed.

Drivers:

Rock solid and stable drivers are a great plus. The ability to configure almost all spring and feedback options of the joystick is excellent. Calibration of the joystick is excellent and easy. The only missing feature was a nice profiling software included with other devices such as the Sidewinder line.

Performance/Features:

Excellent performance with either force feedback on or off. The joystick accuracy and precision is excellent and the comfort of the joystick is excellent. The feedback is excellent and works very well. The extremely solid construction of the joystick works well and the sturdy base makes for stable gaming even when the action gets very intense. Only complaint is that the joystick isn't as friendly for smaller handed people.

Overall:

An excellent joystick that is strongly recommended for any avid gamer involved in joystick style games. The force feedback is excellent and the joystick is extremely comfortable.
