Reviewed: Acer Prisa 620U
Manufacturer: Acer Peripherals, Inc.
Product Type: Scanner
Price: $99 MSRP
Overall Rating:
Author: Derek "~CeiMaster" Edwards       Date: August 30th 1999

Today, I am reviewing the Acer Peripherals Prisa 620U USB scanner. It comes with the many common features of all scanners, but has a few strong points that make it an extraordinary value for all purposes.

The USB interface makes this scanner as portable as they get, and give's it a decent data bandwidth without the extra interface like many SCSI scanners. A 5 second mininum preview time and 15 second average full page scan speed along with it's incredible sharpness ranks the 620U above many other USB scanners in it's class.

This hardware is available for a price of $100 at many fine retailers.
