Final Breakdown

It feels a lot like classic Mario gameplay, but there's a bit more frustration factor than there should be.

Okay - the graphics are stunning, early on. In later levels, it feels like someone was deliberately just being cheap.

Sound and Music:

Nintendo traditionally doesn't bother voice-acting most of their titles, but the music's great, and the sound effects are wonderful.

Is it difficult? Not really. Beyond a few annoying puzzles, most of the game is classing run-and-stomp gameplay.

Controls and Interface:

The controls are beautifully done; getting into any menu pauses the game. The only thing slightly annoying is switching the remote forward for the identification Pixl.

Mario and classic Nintendo fans will find plenty of references in the game to enjoy; newcomers and young kids will probably appreciate the game, if not to the same extent.
