Now the part that tells all, the benchmarks. All tests were performed on the following system.

PIII 600
ABit BE6
128MB PC100 SDRAM
Sound Blaster Live! X-Gamer
Acer 10X DVD-ROM
Maxtor 13GB 5400RPM UDMA, and Maxtor 27.2GB 5400RPM ATA/66

The three video cards used for comparison were a GeForce SDR board, and a Diamond Viper v770 Ultra. Note the v770 tests were performed at an earlier time, as of course the card is now fried as I said in the beginning of the review. v770 tests were still performed under the same circumstances on the same system.

For 3DMark 2000 tests, the 800x600 tests used a 16 bit Z buffer, 16 bit color depth and textures, and bilinear filtering. The 1024x768 benchmarks used a 24 bit Z buffer, 32 bit color depth and textures, and trilinear filtering. Of course the GeForce's used hardware T&L.
