Final Breakdown

Overall, the gameplay is solid, but marred by the fact that too many events must be "triggered" rather than explored for.

Constructed with Quicktime and limited to 800x600x32 only, the graphics aren't all tremendously impressive.

Sound and Music:

Ambient sound effects but no music; it's actually a good thing, because music would only make it harder to concentrate on the puzzles.

Unlike many adventure titles, the puzzles in RHEM 2 are fiendishly difficult.

Controls and Interface:

Classic interface is nice, but it could really use some sprucing up - tooltips and the ability to examine items tend to be helpful.

If you're in for a challenge and don't mind a decent amount of frustration, RHEM 2 might be for you.
