Graphical adventure titles have, on occasion, been derided for the occasional lack of atmosphere. Sometimes they are too loaded down with puzzles and pixel hunts to be truly rewarding.

Still Life is proof that if programmers put their minds to it, they can make a title that's just as scary as any survival horror-style game. The key, as always, is in setting the mood. With Still Life, programming house Microids put their heads together and came up with a truly creepy story, immersive environments, and well-designed puzzles that are sure to draw gamers in and leave them with shivers up and down their spines.
