Final Breakdown


Heretic Kingdoms has pretty engaging gameplay, and grants the player a wide variety of options with which to focus their character's development.


Not the brand-new graphics of a top-line game, but for the extremely modest system requirements it's a solid title. Stay zoomed back for maximum effect.

Sound and Music:

Yes, it's got cheesy voice acting, but the music's not bad.


Depending on your chosen style of play, certain enemies or others will be tough to defeat. The tougher game settings are actually a decent challenge.

Controls and Interface:

They more or less stole Diablo's control scheme, but it works well and keeps the learning curve blessedly short.


If you see Heretic Kingdoms on the shelf, give it a try. It's worth your time.
