Reviewed: Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition
Author: Michael Ahlf       Date: July 6th, 2005
Page: 3

Final Breakdown

Gameplay:

Heretic Kingdoms has pretty engaging gameplay, and grants the player a wide variety of options with which to focus their character's development.

Graphics:

Not the brand-new graphics of a top-line game, but for the extremely modest system requirements it's a solid title. Stay zoomed back for maximum effect.

Sound and Music:

Yes, it's got cheesy voice acting, but the music's not bad.

Difficulty:

Depending on your chosen style of play, certain enemies or others will be tough to defeat. The tougher game settings are actually a decent challenge.

Controls and Interface:

They more or less stole Diablo's control scheme, but it works well and keeps the learning curve blessedly short.

Overall:

If you see Heretic Kingdoms on the shelf, give it a try. It's worth your time.
