Final Breakdown

For a PSP launch title, and after seeing how good Spider-Man 2 was on other systems, we deserved better than the old Spider-Man engine dressed up with Spider-Man 2's skin. The lack of the console version's free-roaming gameplay hurts it as well.

The graphics look good, not surprising since they were lifted from the new engine.

Sound and Music:

The voice acting has the real actors from the movie, which is a nice touch.

It's not difficult to finish, which is unfortunate, because it's also short.

Controls and Interface:

The controls aren't killer, but having to let off the control stick to control the camera gets really annoying during boss fights.

Leave this one on the shelf, it's not worth your time.
