Arcade-style shooters have fallen into the realm of budget games, but that doesn't mean they can't be impressive, or well done. Aerial Strike: The Yager Missions is one of those "value" titles that gets 75% of the way, only to fall short.

Wandering over to American shores through the auspices of Dreamcatcher Interactive, Aerial Strike is everything they bill it as - decently fast action, gorgeous graphics. In fact, for many games, that's enough, and as a value title there's an amazing appeal to it; even when the aggravation factors kick in, you WANT to keep playing it, and WANT to push through.

Is it worth buying? Well, that's what the review is about. The price tag's cheap, but there's something that might stay your hand...
