Final Breakdown

The gameplay is obviously intended for younger players about the reading level of the books themselves, and will probably bore older players quickly.

The game's sound graphically, with cutscenes nicely done as evolving sketches.

Sound and music:

Some of the voice acting could have been matched better, but the music's well done.

AI and Difficulty:

See the points on gameplay; this is not a game that will challenge older players, and there isn't really any "AI" to speak of.

Controls and Interface:

Controls vary by character and option; sometimes it's quite smooth, other times rough. Decent overall.

A good gift for children who like the books, but not something I'd recommend buying for yourself.
