Final Breakdown

Minor nuisances such as the difficulty in reviving downed comrades persist, but the overall gameplay is solid.

The graphics are about as good as they get. Adding in 720P graphics mode support on the Xbox was an excellent choice.

Sound and music:

Patrick Stewart's voice acting stands out; the rest of the actors, and the musical score, are forgettable.

AI and Difficulty:

The computer AI and enemy difficulty aren't bad; one would only wish that the friendly AI weren't so stupid as melee charaters tend not to wait for their ranged support to get into position.

Controls and Interface:

Standard Baldur's Gate controls, but they work well. The addition of combo series attacks was a nice touch.

You'll love the multiplayer cooperative aspect, but if you're playing it solo, rent before buying.
