Final Breakdown

Frustrating level design and goal selection favoring memorization over engaging gameplay really hurt the title.

Graphics are about the only major improvement the game's seen; levels and characters are cleanly defined, well textured, and overall the game's gorgeous.

Sound and music:

The sound's not bad but the music is horribly looped, and the voice effects for bosses could use some work.

Controls and Interface:

The addition of the touch screen to select "special" maneuvers and execute them with the R button is an interesting twist, but the controls could still use a bit of tweaking.

If you don't have a lot of patience,  this definitely isn't the game for you. Only die-hard Spider-Man fans should own this one.
