Reviewed: Fable
Author: Michael Ahlf       Date: September 29th, 2004

Final Breakdown

Gameplay:

The gameplay is solid, but could have been more polished, especially in the side-quest and alternate "fun" items like the marriage system.

Graphics:

Fable is limited, graphically. Beautiful, but at the expense of small maps and many load times.

Sound and music:

The musical soundtrack is unfortunately very repetetive.

AI and Difficulty:

The game's finishable pretty quickly, but it's no reflection on the difficulty rating of the AI; it's just that there are rather few quests.

Controls and Interface:

The controls are well done, with only a few minor tweaks that one might wish to make.

Overall:

It's not an earth-shattering, life-altering game but it's still worth owning.
