Final Breakdown

The gameplay of Whiplash is not bad, but nothing really innovative ever. On the other hand, the puzzles and jokes are FUNNY.

Average graphics... the main characters are nice, everything else just a tad blocky. And the lighting is pretty dark.

Sound and music:

Redmond, as the smart alecky sidekick, is annoying enough to prevent long stretches of gameplay.

AI and Difficulty:

Well, it's a puzzle game of sorts... but fans of the genre shouldn't have big problems with it.

Controls and Interface:

Standard Xbox fare, minimal buttons. Watch out on the right-thumbstick-controlled camera, it takes a bit of getting used to.

Rent before buying, but give it a shot if you liked the Oddworld series.
