Final Breakdown

As fighting games go it's got a nice engine but not enough extras and differences to distinguish it from the others. As another problem, even people who are dinosaur nuts will probably have a hard time placing some of these beasts.

Nicely done, the graphics are exactly what Dreamworks fans have come to expect -- the dinos look breathtaking.

Sound and Music:

Appropriate music and sound effects for the latest part of the Jurassic Park lineup.

Multiplayer: N/A

Just one-on-one, but it's a console fighting game -- no surprises and no loss.

AI and Difficulty:

The holes in the AI are easily exploited, making the difficulty pretty low.

Controls and Interface:

The controls don't get in the way, but could easily have been used for a lot more than they were.

No-name dinosaurs and a simplistic AI take away from what could have been an incredibly cool fighting game.

Pluses (+)
  • Simple controls
  • Beautiful Graphics and Sound
  • Minuses (-)
  • Poor AI
  • Lack of variety in Dinosaurs
