Reviewed: Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven

Final Breakdown

The Tenchu gameplay holds up well, though tagging the R-stick to both vertical and horizontal camera control would have been nice.

The graphics are about as superb as a port can get - and the upgraded models for characters are really, really nice.

Sound and music:

Hasn't changed much from the last game.

AI and Difficulty:

Tenchu's AI isn't that bright, but the difficulty is hard - and having three maps of each level to play keeps the game fresh longer than one might think.

Controls and Interface:

After trying the controls back and forth on the PS2 and Xbox, I came to the conclusion that they're about the same - though two of my friends swear the old PS2 controls are better.

If you own the original Wrath of Heaven and want to upgrade for Live play, it's worth it. If you never owned the original, it moves up to must-buy status.
