Final Breakdown

Gameplay:

Sneak, sneak, sneak. Sneak. Rarely does a game implement this design in such a fun manner.

Graphics:

It pushes the limits of what the PS2 is capable of, but is absolutely gorgeous.

Sound and music:

The sound in Tenchu isn't nearly as important as the graphics to the gameplay.

Multiplayer:

Two-player multiplayer is interesting, but the challenge of the game lies in single player.

AI and Difficulty:

"Easy to learn, difficult to master..."

Controls and Interface:

The controls are awesome; if only the game design didn't have so many corners that broke the wall-hugging feature.

Overall:

If you have the patience, grab it, you won't regret it.
