Final Breakdown

Gameplay:

Great game to have fun with and play for a long time. This will be one hell of a game for console role playing fans, but many hardcore PC role players of Dungeons and Dragons or the Ultima series will not like the simplified game experience. So the game does have a limited appeal.

Graphics:

Lush and colorful backgrounds and well animated looking models make for a solid looking graphics display. The cutscenes are also very impressive and fluid as well. This is also accomplished without the use of 3D Acceleration. The only slight mistake was in the drawing of the overworld map, but hey, everything can't be perfect can it?

Sound and Music:

The sound effects and voice acting is respectable and decent to listen to. But the lack of a great musical soundtrack is really lackluster and disappointing.

Multiplayer: N/A

Most RPG's don't have a multiplayer game, as is the case with Septerra Core

AI and Difficulty:

The game only has one difficulty level, but the difficulty of the game grows along with the player, making the game a very enjoyable experience. The game is not for the hardcore role players, those players may find the game a bit easy.

Controls and Interface:

Rock solid controls and interface at the ease of the user. The only slight problem that might be incurred is the desire to play with another device such as a gamepad, which cannot be used.

Overall:

A great RPG game for console RPG fans, but some may not like the linearity of the game and simple game mechanics.
