Final Breakdown

Gameplay:

It's a solo-only game, and nice to play through. The only downside is a preponderance of cutscenes, lessening actual "play" time.

Graphics:

The Xbox cleans up the original's textures beautifully, now if only they'd upped the polygon count on some of the models.

Sound and music:

The music is nice; the problem is that sound levels between cutscenes and game aren't consistent, and ambient sounds during cutscenes tend to overpower conversation with no way to adjust the various levels in the game's control panels.

AI and Difficulty:

Difficult? Yes, but no thanks to the AI. Most of the difficulty comes from the control scheme, puzzles, and of course the sheer number of enemies to take on.

Controls and Interface:

The Xbox controller does pretty well, but the dodging and quick-healing functions could have been better placed for their amount of usage.

Overall:

It's a nice port, with one main flaw; if you've played the PS2 version don't worry, but if you haven't it's worth checking out.
