Final Breakdown

Nothing to it: stick in the CD, install, reboot, stick in the mouse, and go. Everything else is self-intuitive.

The mouse allows the user enormous freedom in almost any program, and the extra features make it worthwhile. The dust barrier and rubberized grip make it useful and easy to get along with. Its only problem is the scroll wheel's accessibility.

$99.99 Seems a lot for a mouse, but it's durable and should last quite a while. Besides, when the higher-end joysticks can command over $200 it doesn't seem as bad in retrospect.

Even with the minor problem of price and scroll wheel, this mouse is clearly the best out there right now. It's the best in terms both of quality and usability and should stick around as a gamer favorite for a long time to come. As the best mouse around right now, I give it an editors' choice award.
