Final Breakdown

The cars have a pretty good feel to them once you get used to the physics, and the different game types in Career mode make the game really interesting.

Rallisport Challenge has state of the art graphics, but unfortunately requires a state of the art system to run smoothly with the detail cranked.

Sound and music:

The car sounds are mediocre, and lack oomph. The announcer's voice is done well, but the techno music is just plain anoying.

AI and Difficulty:

The physics are slightly difficult to master, but once you catch on the overall difficulty isn't too bad. The AI is actually quite ruthless, especially on the ice racing circut.

Controls and Interface:

The menus are pretty straight forward and easy to navigate. I tried both a keyboard and a game pad, and I can honestly say I prefer the gamepad. A steering wheel would be even better.

An great rally game, but it has more of an "Arcade" feel to it than an actual racing simulation.
