Puzzle games were one of Broderbund's forte, back when they were a big name in Macintosh gaming. Their star player? A much-beloved title named Prince of Persia, in which players accomplished a feat no more daring than leading a Prince out of a dungeon, past traps, to freedom. It acted like a side-scroller, but those who remember know; Prince of Persia, and Prince of Persia 2, were all about puzzles masquerading as levels.

Enter Ubisoft, 2003, releasing the newest update -- a 3D world adventure with action, adventure, and that same brand of puzzle-solving called Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. And they got it right, creating what we'll all know as a new classic for years to come.
