Final Breakdown

Gameplay:

Action is tense, the atmosphere is thick, and they're all wrapped up in a good plot. What more could you ask for?

Graphics:

Artwork is good, and almost never do you find a character fading into the background, which seems to be a problem with other GBA games.

Sound and music:

The music is the best I've heard coming from my tinny GBA speaker. So good, in fact, that I bought headphones just for this game.

AI and Difficulty:

Metroid Fusion has reached the pinnacle - Not too hard, yet never too easy. The SA-X also shows some original enemy AI programming.

Controls and Interface:

Controls are tight, intuitive, and everything is responsive. Just the way it's supposed to be.

Overall:

If your christmas buying list does not include this game, it means that either you already bought it (smart choice), or that something is seriously flawed with your buying list. Metroid Fusion is the best game seen on the GameBoy Advance to date.
